I saw this commerical before the previews began at a movie a few weeks ago and had no idea that it was a Louis Vuitton commerican until the final frame ... which was the idea, of course.
It's gorgeous. I love how cinematic fashion houses are becoming lately. And why not? They have such beautiful, luxurious products — they might as well hire cutting-edge directors to make beautiful, luxurious commercials. This particular ad was shot by Bruno Aveillan, a renowned French commercial filmmaker.
I can't help but be reminded of my favorite fashion commerical, a Dior ad featuring Charlize Theron, which came out a few months ago. It's exquisite.
