My good friend Meg took me out for the loveliest belated birthday dinner last night. We went to Tilia, this amazing little restaurant in Minneapolis' Linden Hills neighborhood, and stuffed ourselves full of red wine, beet salad, lettuce salad with goat cheese, grilled flatbread, meatballs and this heavenly squash caramelle pasta with prosciutto, gorgonzola and walnuts. Oh, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious butterscotch pot du creme for dessert. I died a little bit eating that.
Meg took some polariods with her Fuji Instax, to the delight of the ladies next to us and the chefs preparing our food. It was the perfect way to document our girly date night.
A great friend, tasty food and Project Runway on Tivo. Doesn't get much better than that!
