That's me, taking a breath of Preen's fresh air. This collection is so breezy, simple and chic — femininity at its finest. It's impossible to look anything but elegant in these clothes.
The cheery yellow, soft pink and soothing blues may sound immature in theory, but come off refined in this case. They're countered by punchy, modern prints — a psychedelic floral, sequin splatter and multicolred checks. Without them, the collection could've come off a bit costumey, like a '60s secretary. They bring the impact.
This is also an excellent example of a fully cohesive collection. I wrote about my feelings on cohesion in this review of Christian Siriano's show, and though I don't always feel it's necessary in the grand scheme of things, this is a prime example.
How fun are those shoes, too? Colorblocking is the new tribal-print, guys; I'm calling it!

P.S. Yes, that's Leigh Lezark and Kate Lamphear, post-show, in the last shot. They're so cool.
