Hey.

I'm Mary. It's nice to meet you. This blog is a tiny space on the internet to document my musings on style, travel and culture. Enjoy!

TREND ALERT: Baroque Prints

Swirling, whirling, regal-as-can-be baroque prints popped up on the runway a few seasons ago, and they're now bigger than ever. Does anyone else remember this trend from the '90s? I seem to recall a slew of puffy nylon zipper jackets covered in curly gold vines and chains. Today's version is more refined — thank god — appearing in tailored jackets, dresses and pants. It's even starting to show up in shoes and accessories.

What do you think — will we see more baroque prints on the runway next month? I'll be keeping an eye out.
