New York Fashion Week Highlight Reel

Check out some of my favorite photos that I took while blogging from New York Fashion Week for Nordstrom. Be sure to click on the corresponding links for more photos from each series and my write-ups. (or, check out all of my Fall/Winter 2013 NYFW posts for Nordstrom here)

Chloe Sevigny models in her own presentation for Opening Ceremony. (see: Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony Fall/Winter 2013)

Alexander Wang showed an amazing collection of oversized, masculine-tinged separates. (see: Alexander Wang Fall/Winter 2013)

Phillip Lim's collection was inspired by Parisian café-biker chicks from the 1960s. (see: 3.1 Phillip Lim Fall/Winter 2013)

I loved the cozy sculptural knits at Yigal Azrouel's moody show. (see: Yigal Azrouel Fall/Winter 2013)

I got some pretty fun shots of industry peeps in and around the shows. (see: NYFW Scene Shots Fall/Winter 2013)

Rodarte had one of the most diverse collections, with looks ranging from ruffled and sheer to printed and embroidered (including extreme bodysuits!). (see: Rodarte Fall/Winter 2013)

I went backstage at Jason Wu and got some great hair and makeup closeups. (see: Jason Wu Backstage Beauty Fall/Winter 2013)

The front row at Jason Wu was filled with familiar faces, including Girls' Allison Williams and Heart of Dixie's Jaime King, who were meeting each other for the first time in this photo. (see: Jason Wu Front Row Fall/Winter 2013)

And, of course, the runway show at Jason Wu was nothing short of spectacular. Models circled a giant crystal chandelier. (see: Jason Wu Fall/Winter 2013)

I always love Alice + Olivia's presentations. Designer Stacy Bendet really brought the decadence this season. (see: Alice + Olivia Fall/Winter 2013)

The models at Band of Outsiders wore brown makeup over their eyes to enhace the shadows cast on their faces by the knit hats they wore down the runway. (see: Band of Outsiders Backstage Beauty Fall/Winter 2013)

See what I mean? (see: Band of Outsiders Fall/Winter 2013)

The makeup at Helmut Lang, on the other hand, was super clean and minimal. (see: Helmut Lang Backstage Beauty Fall/Winter 2013)

As for the Helmut Lang show, the coats were my favorite part. (see: Helmut Lang Fall/Winter 2013)

I had an amazing time at Kate Spade's presentation. Her collection was inspired by NYC, so the décor included taxi cabs and a neon skyline. (see: Kate Spade Fall/Winter 2013)

Reed Krakoff's show was as chic and clean as you'd expect, and nearly all of the models wore these white-trimmed boots. I want a pair so badly. (see: Reed Krakoff Fall/Winter 2013)

I spotted Rachel Zoe, among others, in the front row at Reed Krakoff. (see: Reed Krakoff Front Row Fall/Winter 2013)

Oscar de la Renta never disappoints. I fell in love with this cool psychedelic print. (see: Oscar de la Renta Fall/Winter 2013)

Just say yes to sculptural leather! Theyskens' Theory showed some of the best takes on this booming trend. (see: Theyskens' Theory Fall/Winter 2013)

While the runway looks at Thakoon were amazing, I couldn't get over the models' awesomely weird bangs. (see: Thakoon Fall/Winter 2013)

I spotted Christia Ricci and Brad Goreski in the front row at Thakoon. (see: Thakoon Front Row Fall/Winter 2013)

MM6 Maison Martin Margiela had a very cool, conceptual collection of oversized shapes and draped everything. (see: MM6 Maison Martin Margiela Fall/Winter 2013)

The irridescent accessories were my favorite part of Nanette Lepore's futuristic-themed show. (see: Nanette Lepore Fall/Winter 2013)

Elizabeth and James featured a whole bunch of voluminous cozy sweaters. The presentation also marked the launch of the brand's handbag line. (see: Elizabeth and James Fall/Winter 2013)

And Tracy Reese sent a cat down the runway! Need I say more? (see: Tracy Reese Fall/Winter 2013)

Whew! As you can see, Fashion week kept me insanely busy. I'll be back soon to post a roundup of street style photos snapped of yours truly.
