My Current Beauty Stash
Here's what's been going on my face, hair and body lately:
clockwise from bottom left
NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Goldshan - Every time I wear this deep ruddy red lipstick, it's like a little nod to the '90s.
Intelligent Nutrients Anti-Aging Mist & Serum - I'm still skeptical about whether anti-aging products actually work, but if they do, this 100% organic duo is the way to go. I spritz the mist and spread the serum on my face nightly. (fingers crossed!)
Clarisonic Plus - I've been using this sucker for a couple years now and it's official: I'll never wash my face with anything else. Totally worth the splurge. Nothing else gets you cleaner.
John Frieda Radiant Red Shampoo & Conditioner - The formulas in this set apparently includes a tiny amount of red hair-dye, which helps prevent your color from fading. I haven't noticed anything dramatic, but it seems decent enough.
L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Waterproof Mascara - The only mascara that doesn't leave smudges under my eyes and makes my lashes look thick, long and super black. Sold.
Paul Mitchell Spray Wax - A few sprays of this stuff and my limp, fine hair has a full, beachy texture.
Neutrogena 3-in-1 Under-Eye Concealer in Fair - I don't even know what I'd do without this under-eye concealer. Look like a deranged zombie, I guess.
L'Oreal Professional Mythic Oil - In addition to being fine, my hair is also dry and wavy. This helps with frizz big-time and adds a little shine. I apply two squirts post-shower.
Arcona White Tea Purifying Cleanser - Not sold on this stuff. I'm trying it out because Arcona is typically good, but I think it might be drying out my skin. And I hate the smell.
NARS Tinted Moisturizer in Finland - This moisturizer transforms my face every single day, evening out my skin and providing SPF 30 sun protection. We're in a serious, committed relationship.
NARS Illuminator in Albatross - Two swipes each morning — one across the top of each cheekbone — gives me a little radiant glow. It's especially helpful on tired days.
Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner in Black - I tried this and Stila's 'Stay All Day' liquid liner at the same time — Maybelline totally won out. It creates a much better cat-eye and lasts all day long — for a fraction of the price.
Bvlgari Mon Jasmin Noir - My boyfriend's mother got me this for Christmas after I fell in love with a sample in Harper's Bazaar. It's the perfect light, romantic floral — and my new signature scent.
Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Fresh Pink - It takes quite a few applications for this blush to show up, but once it does, it's the prettiest soft pink with a slight glow.
