I rarely crush on celebrities, but when I do, it's typically due to a sparkling personality (in addition to rugged good looks) (see: Jon Hamm, Paul Rudd). In this case, however, I'm throwing all decorum out the window and full-on drooling over the youthful visage of David Gilmour, lead guitarist and co-vocalist for my favorite band, Pink Floyd.

This is a bit of belated tribute, because Mr. Gilmour is now 68 years old, mostly bald and looks like a high school gym teacher.

BUT DAMN. Look at early '70s, pillow-lipped, heavy-browed Dave, crushing hearts from England to Australia on his way to become a founding father of classic rock. Do they still make men this attractive? 

Naturally, he married a model, Ginger Gilmour, who was pretty cute too.

Can you imagine that life? Married in 1975 at Abbey Road Studios, she an artist, he a rising rock star. They had four kids together before divorcing in the late '80s.

Basically, she got him during the hot years. Bravo, Ginger. Bravo.
