I Survived My First Ever Backpacking Trip

Well, after nearly five years in Seattle, outdoorsiness finally got the better of me and I agreed to hike 20-something miles through the woods and sleep there with my fiance. Glamping this was not.

But despite the omnipresent flies, incredibly sore shoulders and endless amounts of UP, I had a rather nice time. It helped that I made my fiance do pretty much all the work of setting up and tearing down camp each night, but hey, he achieved his goal of making me enjoy backpacking!

Part of what kept me going (besides the will to survive) was the fun of making the little film below. Hope you like this glimpse into our nature adventure!
