Hey.

I'm Mary. It's nice to meet you. This blog is a tiny space on the internet to document my musings on style, travel and culture. Enjoy!

The Itch that Burns | Pink Hobo

A mighty fine crowd turned out for "The Itch that Burns" opening-night party at Pink Hobo gallery in Northeast tonight. My good friend Brett Von Schlosser, and fellow artist Mitch Loidolt, showed an amazing collection of intricate, strange, psychdelic, often hilarious drawings and paintings.

My favorite display of the night was probably Brett's wall of messed up character portraits, like an alligator man, guy with giant shoulders and body with a mirror for a head. I have no idea how he comes up with this stuff, but it's amazing. My brain has about ten percent the creativity of these guys' brains.

I hope you're all having wonderful weekends! Will I be seeing any of you at fashion shows this week?
